Hampstead Heath Footsteps

Though I am sure we are going to regret revealing what we have come to consider as one of London's best kept secrets it is simply far too beautiful to hide. 'The Tree' on Hampstead Heath, North London, is an old and almighty tree that over the years has almost grown out of the ground and now has a hollow chamber sitting beneath it. Sit in here and watch your surroundings or simply take pictures of the patterns in the wood as we did. Who said getting back to nature was boring??

The best time to visit is when on one's way home in the early hours and all is quiet ... With friends in tow and all that...

A Short Poem:
On Hampstead Heath there lives a tree, the source of fun, and all we see.

Welcome Footsteps
